Gerardo García Rodríguez is a video game producer known for his extensive expertise in development and design, as well as his focus on gamification and leadership in creative projects. Holding degrees in Video Game Production and a Master’s in Business Innovation, he has been involved in various projects, including the acclaimed “Flat Kingdom,” and has collaborated with renowned studios like Amber. Gerardo has also been a speaker and lecturer at prestigious international events such as E3, Talent Land, Campus Party, Tokyo Game Show, Pax South, GDC, and SXSW. He is the author of the book “New Game Plus,” which narrates the history of 12 Mexican video games.

He is proficient in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall, and possesses the ability to coordinate and lead teams of designers, artists, and technicians, contributing to the development of games for consoles and mobile platforms. He has driven initiatives like meetups for hundreds of video game enthusiasts in collaboration with the government and RCK Games at DV Camp. Furthermore, he has shared his knowledge as a professor at various universities and on educational platforms like Platzi and Udemy.
